How to Order a Gazebo
Ordering a Gazebo should be a easy process!
Trying to design or buy your gazebo should not be a daunting task. We have thought long and hard on how to display and cater to your needs when choosing an outdoor structure like a gazebo. Sure would could baffle you with option after option, but for the most part there are seven (7) things to keep in mind when designing a gazebo.
You may have visited other sites that give you so many options and so many variations of a gazbo that you probably end up just giving up. You take one look and feel overwhelmed by all that is laid out in front of your eyes to choose from. Just remember that the major components that make up are a gazebo are not that difficult to understand and once you have the different sections, or steps down, making the perfect gazebo becomes a easy task.
Lets start with your first choice when choosing a gazebo. First, you will need to decide on the shape of your gazebo. Although there can be custom shapes, the most common shapes are Octagon, Oblong, Square or Rectangular. Shown in the image below, you can clearly see the difference that will help you determine which shape you would love to see as you gaze out your back yard. Second choice is the actual size of the gazebo. Sizes vary on the shape of the gazebo and start off as little as 8' all the way up to 36'! Octagon gazebos come in 8’, 10’, 12’, 14’, 16’ & 24’. The Oblong come in 7’x9’, 10’x14’, 10’x18’, 12’x20’, 24’x36. And the Square or Rectangular comes in 10’x10’, 10’x12’, 10’x16’, 12’x12,12’x16’,12’x20’.
Color? Vinyl or Wood?
So now that we have our shape and size picked out, the next step is to choose the perfect color for your gazebo. Let me backup a little here to help you see what colors are available and in what materials. Over the last few years the vinyl material used to make our gazebos has become very popular. For obvious reasons, vinyl lasts a long time. Bugs cannot hurt it and best of all you never have to paint it. So giving that choice, there are only three colors available that come in vinyl colors. They are White, Almond and Clay.
You also have the option of a wood gazebo. I have to brag a little about the wood that we used to build our gazebos. The wood is considered grade "A" wood. Don't want to bore you with that grade A means techically in the trade field, but I can tell you it is the best available with no knots and kiln dried. The means your gazebo is going to look beautiful and last a very long time. Some of the color options for our wood gazebos is Natural (unstained), U.V. Clearwater Stain, Cedartone Stain, Storm Cloud Grey Stain, White Paint or Almond Paint. We offer the unstained gazebos just in case you get adverous and decide to buy your own stain or paint to match your surroundings.
It is highly recommended that you at least seal your wood for a longer lasting gazebo. You can see the different colors offered for our gazebos by looking at the options available on each of the gazebo's product pages.
Gazebo Rail Styles
Next on your list should be what Rail Styles to consider. This step will be the most important part for giving your gazebo it's personality. Rail styles simply mean you can chose from a simple square rail or a more complex turned railing to give a different look. For our vinyl gazebos we offer 4 different rail styles. They are American, Colonial, Decorators Classic and 3-Season Sun Room Package. You can see the different options once again on the individual gazebo's product pages.
For our wood gazebos, we offer rails in Amercian, Colonial, Deluxe Colonial (heavier styles), Deckorators Classic and 3-Season Sun Room Package.
Gazebo Roof Styles
Half way done! I told you it was easy.
Gazebo roof styles pertain to the top section of your gazebo. We offer six (6) different roof styles to chose from. By chosing a certain roof style, it is also going to give your gazebo a certain personality or look to it. Our most popular roof style is the Classic Roof, which has two teirs to it. As show below, you can see the dramatic effects a gazebos roof can have on it's appearance.
Roofing Colors & Materials
Standard on all our gazebos are an architectural asphalt shingle that carry a 30-year warranty. These shingles gives your gazebo a eleigant look and come in a choice of seven (7) different colors. The colors are Weatherwood, Burnt Sienna, Resawn Shake, Moire Black, Pewter, Cobblestone Gray and Hunter Green.
As an available option, you can use a metal roof, which is currently available on all our gazebos. Colors available are Black, Brown, Brite Red, Dark Gray, Gray, Antique Bronze, Burgundy, Galvalume, Green and Rustic Red.
Also available as an optional roofing color and material is the wood cedar shake shingles. Between the three different materials and array of colors to chose from, you should have no problem finding your perfect match.
Flooring
What will bring your gazebo together is the flooring. We offer two different choices of materials and up to 4 different colors. VEKAdeck has come out with a vinyl flooring that offers a lifetime warranty. This was the main reason we use the particular vinyl gazebo flooring as an option for your gazebo. The VEKA material is available in Gray, Khaki or Walnut. Very easy to clean and with it's lifetime warranty, you cannot go wrong.
If you are going with a wood gazebo, treated wood comes standard with your purchase.
Additional Options
At this point, you have already put together a beautiful life long gazebo that will be the envy of the neighborhood. A few other optional goodies I would like to mention, but not a neccesity, to add a certain flare to your gazebo.
We offer screen systems for both our vinyl and wood gazebos. A great way to keep the bugs away or just to add a little comfort to your gazebo. If you really wanted to seal things up, you could go with our EZE-Breeze Windows. They offer a way to seal your whole gazebo and give your living space a true secure feeling from the elements. With either system, your sure to love the results.
Sometimes when extra seating is a requirement, we also offer benches for our vinyl and wood gazebos. The bench wraps around the inner style railings and allows for seating around the whole gazebo. Great for entertaining or just a way to have ALL your friends gathering in one special place.
At no extra charge to you, we offer a ceiling fan support brace. This helps to structurally make the option for putting a fan a secure and safe choice.
